When registering, please remember you are registering based on 2024-2025 grade, not age. 

Below lists the teams related to grade:

• 4th grade and below - Youth
• 5th and 6th grade - Juniors
• 7th and 8th grade - Seniors

If you are registering as a coach,  you will need to register both yourself and your athlete separately.

If you want your athlete to play above their designated Division, then please reach out to the Director of Football Development to understand the waiver process.

1. Do I need a completed Medical Clearance Form to register?

A. No, you can register without having the Medical Clearance Form completed. The Medical Clearance form will be uploaded to you registration file prior to the summer session. JHL BoD will provide guidance on "how to" in the next week.

2. Why is registration so early?

A. Many JHL organizations provide a summer program, meaning teams practice a couple days a week in preparation for pre-session camp. This typically happens during the months of June and July. This is another benefit of JHL compared to AYF where summer programs are not allowed. The practices typically focus on skill development and conditioning.

3. Can a 2nd grader play JHL Youth?

A. Yes, 2nd graders can play in the Youth division. As discussed at the townhall, the JHL development model allows for multiple games on a weekend, therefore athletes compete at the skill level that best matches their development needs.
